Do I need to create a separate sfeed account?
No. Install the CLI, run the auth command for Facebook, Instagram, or both, approve the Meta browser flow, and start posting. You do not create a separate sfeed product account for the free path.
What can I use for free?
These parts are free:

Do I need MCP to use sfeed?
No. You can use sfeed directly from the terminal after connecting the platform you want.

Can my AI agent run sfeed without MCP?
Yes, if the agent has shell access. Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode can run terminal commands when their permissions allow it. MCP usually gives a cleaner agent workflow because the tool names, inputs, and outputs are explicit.
When do I pay for sfeed?
You pay only for hosted scheduling. That is the mode where sfeed stores the job and publishes it later even when your machine is off.

Do my posts need to live in a hosted dashboard?
