Voice Profile

What it is

The voice profile is a markdown file at ~/.sfeed/profile.md that describes your brand voice, audience, content themes, and style rules. AI agents read this before writing posts so they sound like you.

Generate a profile

sfeed init

Run this in your project directory. sfeed scans for:

• package.json -- project name, description, keywords
• README.md -- project overview
• AGENTS.md -- voice and style rules (the most valuable source)
• Content directories (src/content/, posts/, blog/) -- writing samples
• About pages -- who you are

It generates two files:

• ~/.sfeed/profile.md -- your brand voice
• ~/.sfeed/voice-samples.md -- real writing excerpts from your site

Edit your profile

sfeed profile edit

Opens ~/.sfeed/profile.md in your $EDITOR. The file is plain markdown. Write whatever you want. There's no schema to follow.

View your profile

Re-scan

sfeed profile scan

Re-scans the current directory and updates the project-specific context at .sfeed/context.md.

Per-project context

In addition to the global profile, sfeed creates a .sfeed/context.md file in your project directory with project-specific context. This is read alongside the global profile when an agent crafts posts.
